Description
The Northrop A-17A Nomad, the most famous U.S. attack plane of the 1930s, was based on the company's successful Gamma and Delta commercial monoplanes. The service life of the Nomad was a relatively short four years, since it was decided to use twin-engine designs on future Army attack aircraft.
