America's F9F-2 Panther was the first U.S. Navy jet to see combat in Korea, downing a North Korean Yak-9 on its initial mission in 1950.
This painting was originally commissioned to illustrate the Republic of the Marshall Islands 32¢ F9F-2 Panther stamp issued November 10, 1995.
