Description
The Vicu¤a is the smallest of the South American cameloids. It lives in the high and dry Andes of northeastern Chile, spending its entire life at an altitude between 12,000 - 15,000 feet above sea level. A dominant male will herd a harem over a specific territory and never migrate out of its range.
