A collection of paintings by award-winning artist Kristin Rosenberg, which were originally commissioned to appear on postage stamps and philatelic commemoratives. British artist Kristin Rosenberg won wide acclaim as a botanical artist for her masterful technique emphasizing fine detail. In 1965, Rosenberg began a series of paintings of wild flowers of the chalkland from Shoreham in Kent. These paintings were exhibited at The Royal Horticultural Society's Flower Show in 1967 and won the Grenfell Bronze Medal. In 1976, Rosenberg was commissioned by the British Post Office to design postage stamps featuring roses.
